83 an hour 22 hours ago 22 hours ago 22 hours ago Onsite Lagoon Events Coordinator We are searching for a talented and motivated event coordinator to coordinate and execute onsite events for Metro Lagoons.
The event coordinator will be responsible for every part of event preparation, including event set up, running the event, when necessary ordering supplies, event tear down and working with staff to ensure the completion of a successful event.
The event coordinator should be well-organized and possess a sound knowledge of vendor management.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are vital in this role.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Will be splitting time between 2 Lagoons and will need to communicate with the Corporate Events Team weekly schedule Working with Corporate Team on monthly event calendars for Epperson and Mirada Lagoon Coordinate onsite logistics and be on site to attend events Primary work schedule to be Thursday thru Sunday with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules Establishing and maintaining relationships with our onsite event vendors Reviewing event gameplans and preparing for upcoming events Prep events ahead of time and making sure that all supplies, elements and labor are in order prior to event date Managing and overseeing large scale events onsite the day of, including welcoming guests, event set-up, communicating with staff, organizing vendors, etc.
Assist the Events Manager, Group Sales and Resident Life /Brand Manager with any resident events and activations when needed Evaluate event's success and submit recap reports Will need to take photos of events for documentation and social media purposes- Event photos will go on Event Recaps Must be able to lift, carry, push and or pull weight of 25lbs $50 per pay period gas stipend in lieu of mileage reimbursement.
