Purposely planned as a car-free Walking Village, the resort setting allows guests to easily walk everywhere, surrounded by lagoons and cypress trees.
Families and groups visiting our upscale hotel near Tampa, Florida, may choose from 495 rooms and suites with a total of 800 bedrooms, clustered around nine serene courtyards complete with gardens, stone benches, stone paver walkways and native Florida landscaping.

Overview:
security dispatcher coordinates communication between work or security crews and customers.
They dispatch emergency workers or security officers to the location of a call Responsibilities Coordinate expedient response to emergency conditions such as fire, fire or safety hazards and threats to life and/or property in a calm, rational and persuasive manner.
Handle undesired conduct and potential violations of hotel policy as warranted for the security and safety of hotel guests, associates, patrons and property.
Requires grasping, lifting and or carrying or otherwise moving persons, packages, luggage, wheelchairs and safety equipment using manual dexterity of hands.
Watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around building.
Promote safe work practices.
Answer security telephone and safety hotline calls and respond in a timely manner based on priority.
In the case of suspicious behavior report directly, via radio, to the supervisor on duty; report any alarms similarly.
Memorize and monitor life safety system installed at property including layout of entire building, alarm pull stations, location of fire extinguisher and sprinklers.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous dispatch or security experience preferred.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
