Director Business Development

Employees are hired to help Adventist Health System extend the healing ministry of Christ. The Director, Business Development reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for business development strategies, implementation, physician relations, and other areas as assigned by the CEO. This position is responsible for developing new lines of business and leads all activities related to physician network development, physician staffing, and other related goals. Works with the physician relations team to build relationships with physicians to increase business, gauge market intelligence and drive business to the hospital. Collaborates with Medical Staff Services to maintain a comprehensive Medical Staff Development Plan and supports recruitment of physicians as directed by that plan.

+ Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of resources and market business data with the ability to apply the information in the development and implementation, measurement and evaluation of marketing programs.
+ Demonstrate the ability to perform market and business analysis, strategic planning, program management and managing budgets.
+ Self-starter with integrated marketing skill set; strong interpersonal skills ? be a team player, consensus builder and persuasive presenter able to work well with others using tact and diplomacy.
+ General knowledge of computer hardware and software.
+ Bachelor?s degree in marketing, business or similar field upon hire.
+ 3 ? 5 years of experience with proven results in healthcare business development or leadership role that includes management of key functions: physician relations, marketing and planning, promotional plan development, strategic and business plan development upon hire.
+ Master?s degree in related field
+ Valid State of Florida driver?s license upon hire

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
