The Director of Marketing is responsible for driving brand awareness, growing volume and market share in both the primary and strategic service areas for the Hospital, Wellness Center, Medical Office Building (MOB), Foundation and all outpatient services. Working with the AVP of Marketing and Consumer Engagement, the director is responsible for hospital brand strategy and positioning. The Director manages the day-to-day marketing operations including consumer volume-driving activities, advertising, branding strategies and tactics, community outreach, community relations, strategic partnerships and internal communications for key stakeholders This position is accountable for the implementation, and tracking, of all marketing plans, ensuring comprehensive analysis, research, creative development, media buying, budget development, and vendor interface. This position ensures all marketing and public relations (PR) efforts drive growth through an optimized advertising and promotional mix to include earned media, print, outdoor, television, direct mail, website, social media, interactive marketing, educational seminars, and health fairs/wellness events, for community outreach and benefit. The position is responsible for executing internal and external communications, as directed by the AVP and CEO, while consistently establishing the brand tone and messaging for the organization. This position work in collaboration with AHS marketing and communications departments, West Florida Division marketing department and members of FHWC's management team. All duties are performed in accordance with FHWC's established standards, policies and procedures.
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or Health Care Administration upon hire
5-7 years in marketing and communications upon hire
8+ years of leadership and/or executive experience developing and leading marketing and business development strategies and programs
3-5 years marketing experience in a management capacity within a hospital setting
Broad-based experience in all aspects of managing an organization, including finance; program, service or business development; communications and marketing; and patient relations

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
