Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel:
Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel has provided faith-based, whole person care to the community since it opened in 2012. Every detail of our 83-bed facility is purposefully designed to create an environment of healing for mind, body and spirit. Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment from outpatient services to our surgical suites and inpatient care. In 2013, we also opened a 50,000-square foot Health and Wellness Center that includes an indoor track, group exercise areas, and an aquatics center with a lap pool to help community members achieve optimal health. In August 2015, the hospital began construction on am expansion that will open in December of 2016, significantly increasing the number of inpatient beds, surgical suites, and emergency department rooms.
You will be responsible for:
? Provides any or all of the following fitness/personal training services:
? Provides one-on-one or small group personal training.
? Performs fitness tests, including cardiovascular and non-cardiovascular testing: provides consultation regarding test results.
? Develops exercise prescriptions and programs based on member?s health and fitness needs and desires, specifying fitness equipment and routines.
? Provides fitness supervision. Provides exercise instruction and explains and demonstrates use of fitness apparatus and equipment. Offers oral instruction on fitness technique and recommends corrective adjustments. Observes member engaged in fitness activities to ensure safety rules and regulations are adhered to.
? Provides optimum support and encouragement to help members achieve desired fitness related goals. Follows up with current and past clients regarding their progress.
? Maintains open communication with Fitness staff regarding any potential issues on the fitness floor, such as equipment malfunctions, scheduling conflicts and/or programming concerns.
? Provides fitness floor services, exercise and wellness classes, and corporate health services as schedule permits.
? Stays current with trends in fitness through attendance at workshops, reading professional journals, and networking with other personal trainers and fitness specialists.
? Presents Personal Training options to members and non-members and offers appropriate referrals to other services within the HWC.
? Maintains familiarity with the Exercise is Medicine philosophy in accordance with the American College of Sports Medicine. Counsels clients incorporating this philosophy when possible and as appropriate to do so.
? Represents the Health & Wellness Center in a professional, courteous and enthusiastic manner.
? Adheres to all FHWC and HWC standards, policies and procedures.

? Required to work variable shifts, including rotating days, nights and weekends
? Other duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
What will you need:
? B.S. Degree in Exercise Science or related field upon hire
? At least one-year experience in related field.
? American Heart Association BLS/AED Certification required upon hire.
? Holds at least one certification through a nationally recognized organization within the area of health and fitness. Certification achieved through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) upon hire or, if internal internship has been completed, within 6 months of date of hire.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
